In which, Remus Lupin is a fresh-faced wallflower just out of college, supporting his community in miniature efforts, as to not get noticed. Sirius Black, maybe not as fresh-faced but still just out of college, is, let's say, a little bolder. He's happy to be noticed - even happier when it's the freckled boy that hides in the library. Disclaimer: my parents weren't even a twinkle in someone's eyes in the 70s. Historical accuracy isn't going to be my focus point; but I'll try my best. Y/n was attached to the Weasley Twins hips since day one at Hogwarts. The pure blooded Gryffindor had matched their mischievous nature and love of humour. And while she was close with both boys, she was just naturally much closer to Fred. He was her rock and she was his, along with his twin of course. They balanced each other out.
