There are human beings who live on without souls, existing as anomalies in this world. They should no longer be alive, and yet, they are. Due to the paradoxical nature of their existence, they wield powers not unlike those of espers. Most of these people, appropriately called 'soulless', use their newfound powers for their own gain, putting others at risk of injury or death just so they can profit. Enter Shoko Urabe, who, unlike the other soulless, use her powers as a force of good in a world filled with evil. With both the police force and the other soulless after her, she must quickly learn to master her newfound ability or face the reality of death. But she is not alone, however. With the help of her reluctant childhood friend, the two embark on a journey to discover the source of this anomaly.

This was my NaNoWriMo novel! It's not finished, but it's 50k. If you wanna read it, you'll find that it's very incoherent, and not strung together well at all, with different scenes spread all about. But feel free to check it out. ;P - The world they call Briniiya is one overrun with deadly creatures of all types. Only a small percentage of the living creatures are humans, and their only refuge is the small land they call Raena. Enclosed in walls, it's the only relatively safe place to prevent attacks from the Brinii. Kiaru, a young boy with a taste for recklessness and adventure, has lived enough of his life on the inside of these walls. Few have ever left the safelands and returned, but that's exactly what Kiaru aims to do. With his shadow dog, Arcan, and his helpful friend, Jasik, he'll set out to conquer Briniiya, in one way or another. Will he make it? Or will Kiaru and his companions simply end up as yet another dinner for the many predators that lurk on the outside?

In the kingdom of Cerevian, the king has just passed away, leaving the princes to return from their journey. While passing through a small town, a low-class commoner girl happens to speak up, insulting the eldest with her opinionated views. If not for the youngest prince, her life would have most likely taken on a turn for the worst, but now that he's taken an interested in the opinionated girl, it may just be worse than it could have been. But while she deals with that, the three princes are forced to act to perfection, being closely monitored, all starting with a ridiculously prejudiced party. But it's never fun when all they have to do is act good, especially when the youngest already acts almost to perfection. So when he throws in an unexpected variable, nothing good can come of it. Note: This story is written in a different style. It's written from four different POV in first person, so I'll definitely try and make the voices distinct. Also, I know I have lots of errors; please bear with me.

Reiji is a cold loner with temper issues who reviles the world around him. Alice is a sheltered aristocrat suffering from social anxieties. A chance encounter had the two meeting one another. Can their romance blossom despite their debilitating pessimism and paranoia? A charming tale about breaking out of one's shell and maturing from adolescence to adulthood. Updated every Saturday! <---(But nothing was said about slight delays!) "This is probably one of the best things that I've ever read in the past two years along with The Fault in Our Stars, a few Vonnegut books and Redemption (the 2Million words long Mass Effect fanfiction which you will definitely love). Fresh and unusual humours, not so over-the-top drama, some "aww" moments that are hard to forget and an overall unique story; you really can mix those things pretty well into a 19 chapters (as of this writing) internet novel that I first thought would be like your usual lovey-dovey filled light novels which shows people kiss every 2 chapters but is actually a read that is quite unique for today's standard." -Some guy on the internet "This is a soothing piece of work. Experiencing the story through Reiji's and Alice's POV really brings it to life; I always thought slice of life is best written in first person. You managed to make me sympathetic towards them already, seeing how they go about their lives with their train of thought, personality, and all. The drama scenes when done well really have heartstring-pull prowess. Chapter (redacted) comes to mind, and Chapter (redacted) too. Your Edgy antics are as apparent as ever. I can definitely see how you intentionally make cheeky remarks and references regarding certain anime tropes and antics, yet I don't feel they hinder the story. The narration may read a little too explosive at times, but so far it's nothing that would take my eye off this story one bit. " -Some other guy on the internet
