The fable behind the events of Breath of The Wild, following the childhood of both Link and Zelda as they navigate their lives, coming up against battles and heartbreaks alike. We begin six years before the calamity, while the unbeknownst heroes are little over twelve. Link pulls the sword from the temple of time, and is forced to pack his bags for the castle... to accept his doomed title. Despite the rocky start, Link eventually finds himself acquainted with friends Mipha and Renado, while Zelda deals with more familial issues. Slowly but surely, the world begins to show signs of it's demise; blood moons, skeletal monsters, and backstabbing machines. This is an ongoing story with a slow burn romance at its core. Their wildfire relationship endures childish twists and turns, but Link and Zelda will ultimately have to come together to face the calamity which threatens to plague Hyrule... Link tries to fight it off, but ends up disappearing by something mysterious.
