keith stood at the foot of the hallway , seeming dazed and confused. what the hell? what's he doing? he's dueling mr. daddy dearest later, why is he still standing there? and why does he look so.. sad. "butters?" pico went up to him , tapping his shoulder. "hey, butter. are you okay?" he looked at him, almost scared. did pico freak him out? pico knew double D was a scary guy, but he sings simple songs, he knew keith could beat him! so what's going on? keith looked at him with a tense stare. "who are you?"

After a difficult end to his first relationship, Keith [BF] started fresh and changed himself, feeling like a whole different person. His love life was going nowhere, after he decided to take a long hiatus from his previous break up. His mother grew anxious of the thought her son would never get over it, so she arranged a blind date between him and a girl he grows to form a strong bond with. The two become close, finding one special thing they had in common, and that was their love and passion for music. Her father was already a celebrity, who had a career in singing and hosting survival shows. So with their genius plan, they decide to collaborate on this idea and showcase it to her father, so they can become contestants as well for this competition show. Due to his prior practices, tutorials and help he'd followed, he was an excellent vocalist and rapper. He began growing his self esteem and confidence, he took the opportunity to learn even more things, and as time progressed with them both being on the show, they began to gather fans and of course a lot of money. At this point, he was becoming an uprising star with pure talent and an ethereal 'girlfriend'. All of this took a turn when a special player made their way into the show, changing the game for Keith. [Updates at least once a month.] Keith and Pico were close friends as children, that is, until Keith ended up moving out after the third grade. Coming back a few years later, he finds that Pico seems to be a whole new person- unable to look him in the eye, constantly carrying a gun, and a huge scowl dominating his face. Though Keith knows of an incident happening at their school after he moved away, he doesn't know the full details- and after pushing a little too far to get an explanation out of his childhood friend, he and Pico have a falling out. A year or so later, the two of them meet again when Keith challenges him to a rap battle, and after seeing the terror in Pico's eyes from the sounds of a thunderstorm, Keith realizes there's more to his old friend than he knows. As Keith is desperate to help Pico heal, and Pico is equally as determined to push him away, the two of them begin to rekindle their friendship- and maybe, after Pico opens up to someone for the first time in a long time, even something more. [hey guys! this is my first fanfic on here so it might update kind of erratically, i also only joined the fandom recently and though i know about the events of pico's school, i'm not perfect so i might mess some things up. this isn't an au by the way, just my take on their past relationship, as i prefer them to be past friends who had a falling out rather than exes. basically Pico acts differently after the trauma he went through at his school, and Keith doesn't know that there's more to his old friend than just a frown. aka- Cherry (gf) and Keith are exes turned best friends having fun rap battling, and take Pico into their group. there will be explanations for the actions of Cherry's parents and all that jazz, it's just not explained in this description]

UPDATE: discontinued (i think) Keith and his trauma problems, led him to earth and felt hopeless without his parents. He was cared by one he slowly trusted and soon met two special people that helped him recover his trauma. One of those two people however, were different. He started to develop feelings for him.
