Scales. Scarlet scales that transformed into a dark maroon at the end of the fins, the single glimpse he got of the creature hiding behind the coral. Hair. Coal black hair knotted and flowing with the current of the tank water, the second glimpse he captured when it poked his head out of the spot in curiosity. Skin. Smooth skin that stood out against the background of the water, the last glimpse he got as the thing came out of hiding. All Han Jisung has known is life in the mafia. From stealing on frozen streets to living the high life of a talented informant, he's been able to take whatever life throws at him. That is, until his team, Nightfield, goes after the notorious rogue mafia don, Lee Minho. After a failed mission and a tense encounter, Jisung's life is thrown upside-down. Through Minho, he learns more about his blurry, unclear past, about who he is, and what love can mean in such a dark world. All while something bigger, something more sinister, lurks in the shadows around them. *This is for fun but I'm also SUPER proud of this story (it's like my best written one lol) * This is a fanfiction related to the K-pop group, Stray Kids, but it doesn't read like one.
