Reagan Meyers is a 17 year old high school student with an abusive dad, she takes care of her little sister, Izzy, and is completely withdrawn from others. All this changes when she works on a school project with Nolan Mitchell, the school quartarback. One night, her dad hurts her badly, and she packs a bag for her and her sister, and leaves. She finds herself on Nolan's doorstep, that one night changes everything.
