Having acquired a portkey for an emergency escape, Draco Malfoy makes the tough decision to stay behind when the Chosen One fails at killing the Dark Lord. Swearing to keep her safe from afar, he sends Hermione to the Americas while him and his father work tirelessly to disassemble Voldemort's regime from the inside. With him making the oath to kill the Dark Lord by his own hand for killing his mother after he realized she lied about Potter perishing. Finally accomplishing this seemingly impossible feat, he heads to Chadwick's Hollow. A small wizarding/muggle community near Ilvermorny in search of his love. Hoping to make it back to Hermione before his secrets beat him to her. Hermione Granger made a life for her and her friends. And she's happy she really is. Except one major problem. Draco Malfoy isn't here to share it with her. With no communication with the current Minister, the Dark Lord, she has no idea if he's even still living. Worst of all if he died without every finding out that when she flees with her friends, the whole time she'd carried a small part of him with her.

No one would assume that England's best seeker, Draco Malfoy is a dragon thanks to the curse of the Noble House of Black. Ironic, surely that the Malfoy name is known synonymously with Blood purity, only for his own to be "tainted." When Hermione is tortured right before his eyes, the Dragon of House Black is enacted. With years of mutual pining, things quickly come to a head when their feelings are finally revealed. But with a new evil rising, claiming muggles must die or serve.. both sides of the Wizarding community are chomping at the bit to use Draco to turn the tide in their favor. Whomever can procure Hermione could essentially control the dragon, for there is little a dragon won't do for it's mate.
