Years Prior, Shuichi and Kokichi were the closet of friends. At least from Kokichi's perspective they were. They had many friends as many kids lived in their beautiful neighborhood. When they were both fourteen, Shuichi had to move away with his family. Before he moved an incident occured that drove a wedge between the two to a point where Shuichi blamed Kokichi for something and hadn't forgiven him. By Senior year, Kokichi moved as well. Moving to brand new city away from the old. On the first day, he spotted the blue-green haired boy with the same emo hat he'd always worn. After the killing game has ended, it's discovered that the sixteen students have been in comas for the past three years. They were put into a virtual world for three years to stimulate their brains, however the killing game was the result of an inside job within the coma ward, and was televised to the world by the footage being rerouted to a channel. The 'Danganronpa' games have been around for a while, and is run by an undisclosed group (obviously). The group runs this show illegality, however unlike the other 51 games, no one actually died... since they were in comas in a virtual world. Shuichi and the others who survived to the end, have all woken up, whilst many others who died. The only ones who are awake that died in game includes: Kaede, Rantaro, Ryoma, and Kirumi. Once they FINALLY start to adjust to living life again, they are thrust into the fifty fourth Danganronpa game. If you ever looked at the dark side of social medias like reddit or such, you probably already know there are in this work entitled people and spoiled brats who think they own absolutely everything just because they have money.
