They thought it would be over the moment Voldemort die. They were wrong. It was with horror when they realize that another dark spell had been sent to Harry's way moments before Voldemort die as revenge. As a result, his right eye was forever blind, lost to even the strongest healing spell. He would never be able to feel true happiness, for his heart was closed to everyone. He was broken, the shadow of the boy he used to be. He was lost, straying from the path he used to walk. But if there was one thing that could help, it would have been the pale haired boy who stood silently in the shadows. After all, they do say that love comes in the most unexpected places.

After the Battle of Hogwarts, all students were asked to return to repeat their year for a proper education, much unlike what they received the previous year with Death Eaters as professors. After Draco helps Harry calm down after a panic attack, they quickly learn that mental and physical changes (such as Draco's dyed blue hair) were not the only changes that took place, but emotional ones as well.

Due to his mother's death, Lucius Malfoy demanded Draco went to Durmstang to learn the dark arts that aren't provided at Hogwarts. It wasn't until his fourth year that Draco ended up in Hogwarts with his best mate, Viktor Krum. It wasn't until his fourth year that he met The-Boy-That-Lived.

Sometimes a witch or wizards magical signature is so completely incompatible with another that they repel one another like magnets. On the other hand, if two magical signatures mesh well together, well there are no stronger relationships in all the world. In a sample of a thousand people, the average witch or wizard will be slightly repelled by four or five people and strongly repelled by only one, at the most. The opposite is true for attraction. But Harry Potter can't kiss anyone at all.
