12 years after the Palimer Kingdom was invaded. Flora, a 13 year old middle schooler, finds out that she is not who she thought she was. She is in fact the lost princess that was sent to Earth. When solstice, a newly formed organization poses a threat to the Earth and the Palimer Kingdom, it's up to the next generation of legendary warriors to fight and free the queen from her prison.

The preliminaries for Love Live begin and Tsubasa Kira, leader of the popular idol group A-Rise and she has had her eye on Kousaka Honoka for a while, and when an opportunity to get closer to her presents itself, Tsubasa takes it without a second thought. Kousaka Honoka is the leader of the idol group μ's at Otonokizaka High School. She watches as her friends get into relationships, leaving her to become lonely. However, an opportunity presents itself in the form of a beautiful idol from another school.
