A regular project, all going as according to plans until he's encountered a man at the top of the roof. And in less than a second, he'd made a decision that would change his whole life and the timeline itself.

I'm begging u so hard not to read this pls I wrote it as a joke years ago Zak has taken quite a liking to his best friend Darryl. To him, Darryl is the happiest person he knows. He always laughs and smiles and makes others smile. But the truth is, none of it is real. It's all a fake persona he's made up. In truth, he constantly gets upset over the smallest things, never really feels happy, and as punishment for lying to everyone, he harms himself. Even worse, he gets bullied by his "friend" Vincent. But one day, Darryl goes missing and Zak begins to worry. And just as things couldn't get worse, Vincent shows up at his door.

Zak is living in a not so great foster home. One night, he decides to sneak out, and he finds that another boy is secretly there with him in the woods.
