This story is the fanfiction version of In The Shadows written by the amazing Katydids. It is now an original, with a completed first book and the beginning of a second. While the fanfic version is similar to her original with some of the characters and basic plot, not everything is the same. Katy is graciously allowing me to post this here. When Sang's father dies, she and her mother move away to her grandparents. There she meets a group of guys that live down the road who are so much more than they seem. Soon, Sang's world is rocked with a revelation that changes all she's every known about herself and her family. And with this revelation comes a danger that she may not be equipped to deal with. What happens when the world you thought you lived in isn't anything like it seems? This is a fanfiction of The Academy: Ghost Bird series by CL Stone. All characters and rights go to her. No money is intended to be made off of this story. We just like to play in her world.

Lyric Sorenson tries to stay invisible; invisible to her alcoholic mother and her leering boyfriends, invisible to the much older cousin who somehow always appears when Lyric is alone. All Lyric wants to do is survive, to make it to 18 when she can live on her own and make something of her life. Academy boys Taylor, Kell, and James are happy with their small team. They take the jobs they want, collect favors, pay off debts, and never look back. Until they meet the intriguing Lyric Sorenson, and see the girl she tries to keep hidden; the one with beauty, intelligence and quiet bravery. When Lyric's cousin begins to stalk her, the boys have had enough. They won't let anyone hurt her anymore. But what started as protection, starts to morph into love. Is it possible for one girl to love three boys? Can the boys get Lyric to trust them with her heart and build a life with them? HEA for those who worry.... I don't own these characters, and I am not trying to make a profit from this story and its character usage. It is for entertainment purposes only. Sang's been on her own for about seven months. She's also approximately... oh seven months pregnant. Not that the guys knew this when they made the decision that she was safer away from them and the chaos that the Academy brings. Sang's a clean slate. She has been since she woke up in a hospital a little over six months ago and found that she couldn't remember anything after the accident she'd been in. Nineteen years of nothing. Kept under the watchful eye of the nice Doctor Roberts who treated her, she's been able to make a somewhat good life for herself. But all of that ends when a threat is made and she's put under the protective care of the Blackbourne Team. The same team who let her go. The same team who was given no updates on her other than her safety. The same team that has been trying so hard to move on, is being put in charge of the safety of a one pregnant Sang Sorenson- who by the way has changed drastically now that she isn't burdened with the knowledge of her past. *I don't own the Academy or its characters

When Josephine returned to her home town after the death of her parents she was prepared to take a job at the local hospital. She wasn't prepared to run head first into her werewolf mate. She spent her entire childhood as the wolfless daughter of an Alpha who thought his own Luna was weak for not having a wolf. He sacrificed his pack and the legacy of his bloodline to ensure power for himself. Now, it's up to Josephine and her Alpha, August, to save their entire pack, but they aren't prepared for the war they just joined. "Mr. August Hayes was responsible for the cinnamon rolls and the smell of fall spices. If it wasn't his intense body language or the burning gaze staring into my soul giving it away, it would have been those electric blue eyes. The same ones that stole my sleep. I gulped. Why me? I squirmed uncomfortably in front of the panel as Dr. Grace led me to my chair. She was eyeballing me with a look that told me I had to pull it together. I sat down and quickly crossed my legs, trying to make myself smaller. Nurse Kasey was smirking at me, giving me a knowing look. Great, another one. I sighed through my mouth, careful not to inhale anymore of his scent. I had to get it together. I couldn't be the doctor from New York City who strolled into Little Compton hospital and made herself look like a complete idiot. I plastered on a smile." Book #1 of the Royal Legacy series (can be read individually)

[Completed] Every Wolf Moon, humans are selected from each village to be sacrificed to the werewolves; creatures worshipped by humans as godlike figures. In a twist of fate, seventeen year old Mila Young is selected to be the annual sacrifice for the Trinity pack, the most powerful pack ruled by King Alpha Roman Stone. Alpha Roman and all werewolves under his rule are cursed. His hatred for the humans and his war on the deity Moon Goddesses has caused his kind to lose the favor of their blessings. However, when Mila reveals herself to have a connection to the werewolves unlike anything a human has ever had before, it becomes apparent that she may be the key to ending the suffering of Roman and his wolves... if only he can overcome the lifelong hatred that clouds his mind and darkens his heart. Excerpt: "You smell like wolf," The King Alpha declared, his voice low and angry. "I killed one," I both explained the smell and threatened at the same time. "And you think you can kill me? You think you can take my pack?" I glanced around at all the lycans still in their wolf forms, bowing obediently towards me. Could I take all of them on? I doubted it. I didn't even think I'd get this far. I didn't even know what was going on. When I turned back to the King Alpha, he was significantly closer. "Stay back!" I cried out in fear. The power flared within me once more, lifting whimpers from around me. The King Alpha hesitated again, his eyes skating over me with confusion. He took a deep breath, sniffing the air around me as he hadn't yet gotten any closer. "You smell like... my mate." {{Warning: Some scenes may be unsuitable for audiences below the age of 15 and offensive to those of all ages. Read at your own risk.}} Rankings: #1 in Lycans #1 in wolf

This is a Fan fiction of Ghost Bird series. I have had this in my head for a while and was going to upload it to another website and then the complications started. It is my first fan fiction. I will happily listen to constructive criticism. Sang Sorenson is a werewolf, the only in her family. Her mother and sister think she is a freak and her dad is never around. One night she goes out of her house and meets a boy and his friends. What will happen when Sang finds out who they are, it might even change her life. I don't really know how to describe it.
