A guide full of tips and tricks that hopefully doesn't recount the same old stuff in every other writing book under the sun, Wattpad and published alike. Covering everything from helpful resources like Susanna's Pacemaker to treating setting like character. My awkward rants about the cliche books on Wattpad. (The title kind of says it all, but I don't like seeing a blank Description box) I hope you enjoy my apparent ability to make people laugh. Warning: these are my spur-of-the-moment thoughts. Some stuff may or may not come across as being extremely critical or harsh, but I assure you, I'm NOT trying to tell you to do a complete 180 and delete everything cliche in your books. These are merely my thoughts, not a "How to Be a Perfect Writer" guide. Okee dokee? :) Highest rank: Humor #80, Rant #1 !!!!

Discover some of the writing tips from Wattpad Star and formerly featured author of 'Trapped'. I have completed my share of beta reads and critiques for new authors on and off Wattpad and many of the points I have noted are often repeats - something that I used to find in my own writing as well, but have stopped (or tried to stop) over the years. It's hard starting out, but it's even harder when no one points out your mistakes. I hope you will find this guide useful to detect some of those problem areas and pick up tips on how to avoid common mistakes. Writing is an art and takes practice. There is no corner cutting - you can only improve if you keep at it. Interested? Well, then let's explore some of the common traps I've seen...
