[REVISED EDITION, 2024] (Published Under Flutter Fic) Lost Island Series #1: Unmasking the Waves Deception "He was like that of the waves bringing the sand with him in the sea. The only thing is that he didn't bring the sand back to the shore, he made sure the sand will stay where the waves are." Zirena Sandejas aspires and will stop at nothing to accomplish her goal of becoming a published article writer. The only way to do it was to spy on the enigmatic and controversial model-the press' apple of the eye, Wave Aeden Nievarez. She had to know the darkest secrets lurking beneath. She had to unmask him and expose the truth. She sneaked into his life while he unknowingly crept into her heart. As they started to know each other beyond the surface and fell deeply in love, what if he unmasked her first and found out about her deceit? Book 1 of 5 - Lost Island Series

A young man named Eric Marshall goes to teach a school on Prince Edward Island and meets Kilmeny, a mute girl who has perfect hearing. He sees her when he is walking through an old orchard and hears her playing the violin. He visits her a number of times and gradually falls in love with her. When he proposes she rejects him, even though she loves him in return, believing that her disability will only hinder his life if they were married, despite his protests that it wouldn't matter at all. Meanwhile, Eric's good friend David who is a renowned throat doctor, comes to the island and visits Eric. He examines Kilmeny, and says that nothing will cure her but an extreme psychological need to speak. This need comes soon when Neil Gordon, who is Kilmeny's brother and madly jealous of Eric, comes behind Eric with an axe, meaning to kill him. Kilmeny is nearby, and without thinking, she yells to Eric to look behind him: she can now speak. Neil runs away on a ship, and Kilmeny and Eric get married.

The Odyssey (Greek: Ὀδύσσεια Odýsseia] in Classical Attic) is one of two major ancient Greek epic poems attributed to Homer. It is, in part, a sequel to the Iliad, the other work ascribed to Homer. The Odyssey is fundamental to the modern Western canon, and is the second-oldest extant work of Western literature; the Iliad is the oldest. Scholars believe the Odyssey was composed near the end of the 8th century BC, somewhere in Ionia, the Greek coastal region of Anatolia. The poem mainly focuses on the Greek hero Odysseus (known as Ulysses in Roman myths), king of Ithaca, and his journey home after the fall of Troy. It takes Odysseus ten years to reach Ithaca after the ten-year Trojan War. In his absence, it is assumed Odysseus has died, and his wife Penelope and son Telemachus must deal with a group of unruly suitors, the Mnesteres (Greek: Μνηστῆρες) or Proci, who compete for Penelope's hand in marriage.

Rainbow Valley (1919) is the seventh book in the chronology of the Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery, although it was the fifth book published. In this book Anne Shirley is married with six children, but the book focuses more on her new neighbor, the new Presbyterian minister John Meredith, as well as the interactions between Anne's and John Meredith's children. The book is dedicated: "To the memory of Goldwin Lapp, Robert Brookes and Morley Shier who made the supreme sacrifice that the happy valleys of their home land might be kept sacred from the ravage of the invader." This refers to World War I, which is the main theme of the next and final book in the series, Rilla of Ingleside.

Have you ever looked in the mirror and couldn't figure who was the person you were looking at? Maybe you thought that person was ugly or just didn't blend in with the world. We are always told that we are beautiful, but we never believe inside because we never thought it was true to found our real selves beautiful. You don't have to hide a mask anymore. Underneath your skin you have the power to control your mind. Don't compare yourselves to others. There is only one YOU in the world. I'm sure you're gonna be the best YOU that you can be.
