After Aunt May finds out that he's Spiderman, Peter Parker has nowhere to go. Tony Stark takes him in and learns what it's like to take care of a kid. Peter Parker knows a lot of things. He knows how to balance chemical equations. He knows his parents died in a plane crash 13 years ago. He knows how to throw a knife so it always hits its mark. He knows he wants to be a hero. When everything Peter has ever known is thrown out the window, he's suddenly face to face with old friends, lost family, and questions with no right answers. All Peter and Tony had to do was cross the mountains. That's it. Just climb a few hills and get to the annual Stark Convention. Tony wanted to try something different, a father-son trip as opposed to just taking the boring old private jet. Maybe stop at a cabin on the way back, taking a little family vacation. They didn't count on the snow, or the wind, or the fact that neither of them have cell service. And they definitely didn't count on the fact that they would be hunted-stalked-as they sit, freezing and shaking, on the side of the road.

Peter doesn't ask for trouble, trouble just kind of finds him, stalks him like a bloodhound until it's basically his second shadow. Tony doesn't ask for stress, stress just sort of follows him around, pads after him like a puppy turned spider-baby, until he's basically Tony's second shadow. Tony Stark knows what he is capable of. Being one of the most powerful man in the world he'd never thought that he'll end up in this kind of situation. He'd never peg to be a father figure to anyone but one boy. Peter Parker. "M-Mr. Stark.." the shaking voice he heard never sound so small before. "C'mere kid." He pulls the teen up to his feet and the teen quickly went in his arms. Not knowing what to do for a moment he allowed his body to automatically move and just put protective arms around the shaking child. "A-Aunt May.. she's.. s-she's.." Peter almost chokes as his sobs gets louder, muffling over Stark's expensive shirt. He didn't mind the suit nor the shirt. He just wanted to protect the kid even more. He just had no idea how.
