"Quick, kiss me." I choked on my baguette as I looked up at my boss, his intense grey eyes burning into me as my jaw fell open with a mouthful of chocolate baguette. "What?" I snapped, was it just me or did my boss suddenly lose his mind? One minute he was talking about rescheduling the meeting booked at two and then he said kiss me, maybe he said something else, maybe it was miss, bliss, piss? But all the thoughts in my head were swiped away as he stood up from his chair, his tall frame hovering over me before he grabbed my arm so roughly the baguette I was holding fell out of my grip and he pulled me upwards, and the man I have worked for three years and never touched suddenly was pressed against my chest as his lips met mine. And the piece of baguette in my mouth only made me choke further. * * * Gabriel Parish needed the wealth that came when his grandfather passed away, but there was a catch, he had to be married, or have a wife of some sort for at least two years, and the 29 year old bachelor had no intention of ever getting a wife, they were too complicated. Marriage by Law from Darius's Point of View - can be read alone or together with the published novel: Marriage by Law *** Darius didn't want to marry, at the same time he had no valid opinion on the terms and conditions that came with 'marraige'. His parents wanted him to marry for a business deal, he just wanted to be the best at what he did, that was, his company making the top 10 in ASX. A simple nod turned into a full pledged woman in his house, who was there to just make his life hell. He was sure of it. It was a plot by his parents.

He is the alpha. He is ruthless, bitter, and cold. He is everything I want, but can't have. He is my savior and I his demise. He was beautiful, painstakingly so. Soft, short black hair that was softer than the feathers of a pampered swan. Tanned, olive toned skin that had been kissed by the sun. Features so striking, so remarkable the angels cried from his beauty. His cheekbones were sharp, accented by forest green eyes rimmed with even darker lashes. His face had been carved delicately by the gods themselves, leaving ruins in the wake of anyone who came into contact with him. The face of an angel, the body of a god, and the anger of a thousand men. Gabriel.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS STORY WILL BE PUBLISHED ON AMAZON OCTOBER 1ST 2019 AND AS SUCH WILL BE REMOVED APART FROM THE FIRST FEW CHAPTERS. IT WILL BE AVAILABLE UNDER THE KINDLE UNLIMITED DEAL FOR THOSE THAT HAVE IT. "You taste like mine." Serena is a witch. Well, almost... If it wasn't for her badly behaved familiar she might have already ascended to full witch and finally gained the approval of the Head of the Council - her mother. But the damn cat doesn't seem to want to play ball and it's getting to the point that the local cattery is looking like a swell idea. For a warrior witch, the fact that her own familiar won't reveal his war form, is making her look severely stupid. And Serena doesn't do stupid.... Good thing she has a glitter-witch/pixie/gypsy/no idea what she actually is, best friend who has her own dragon as a familiar, and Serena is not jealous. Not at all. With help from a highly intoxicated Grandma, and an overly affectionate naked guy, Serena and Hayley fight against Sod's Law to finally achieve more than the title of 'Faulty West Coast Witch.' This is a Novella of roughly 50,000 words that includes lots of indecent flashing, coarse humor, and an irreverent witch that has the vocabulary of a big, burly truck driver. Foul language warning in three....two....one.... Author takes no responsibility for sudden cat appreciation societies, adoptions, and/or girly-squeals. Any relation to real life is totally accidental and should this occur, please send details (and photographic evidence) to author's email address ;).
