Based off the Super Mario games, Disney's "The Haunted Mansion" and other resources. Ludwig von Koopa is not your average koopaling, but he's got it all. Very high IQ, loving family (even though they drive him crazy) of one father and seven younger siblings, his most advanced magic skills that no one could ever have, his musical talent and not to mention he'll be king very soon. Not yet, but soon. Two things are for certain though; the eldest 18 year old koopa prince is no longer a koopaling and he's had a normal life so far. That is until his last evening as a "mortal". One night Ludwig gets attacked by what looks to be a centuries old vampire koopa troopa and things have turned upside down. If no longer being out in the sun is bad enough; Ludwig has a much stronger thirst for blood and it threatens to turn both the Mushroom Kingdom and the Darklands into a haven for the undead. Even worse; an empire is out to capture him and do research on him. Whatever research that empire tends to learn about from Ludwig; it can't be good. Will Ludwig stop himself before he puts harm to others or give in to his blood lust?

A racetrack in space? Coddleswap. Rainbow Road is much more than that: it's the salaryman's highway from the ground to Orbit City, and this year, Mario and Luigi are taking it by foot. - Silly little story that I had to write before I forgot it! #JustWriteIt

Ludwig Von Koopa, the more mature and sophisticated Koopaling out of all of his siblings, had begun hearing a voice inside of his head. The voice, he had recognized, to be someone he had thought he would never have to worry about again. He thought he had gotten rid of that side of him, not wanting to have to deal with being called the 'crazy' one. He tried to ignore the voice, but it was clear that he was not going to give up until everything Ludwig had worked hard to get rid of regained control. On top of that, an old enemy returns and tries to use him as an advantage to take down Bowser and all of the other kingdoms. He's tried his best, not wanting the crazy side of him to come out, again. When Bowser's new weapon backfires, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Bowser fall into an alternate dimension where the villains are heroes, and the heroes are villains. The four must find a way back home, while avoiding many different threats. But in reality he learns that his 'dream' and the negativity that has spread through out the Mushroom Kingdom share a connection. Not only that...Luigi seems to have the same connection, but to light and positivity instead. Could this only be a coincidence? The two don't think the same at all. They both eventually find out that Luigi has the power over Light...and Mario has the power over Darkness. While Mario struggles to control this darkness they find that the balance between those two entities have become disconnected. Will light prevail and darkness expire? Will darkness prevail and light expire? Or shall the connection become whole once more, and make the world balanced again? Find the answers to these questions by reading this yourself.

During this, he and Luigi were sent into the woods by Princess Peach to investigate a mysterious power...a dark power. Mario thinks this power could be tied to the nightmare, thinking it's not a coincidence at all. They thought it wasn't something too serious...but it turned out they were wrong. Will they be able to survive this power? Will they be able to fight back the darkness it holds? Find out with this heartfelt adventure the two brothers go to see which side they'll really fight for.
