When Mabel Pines visits her great uncle Stanford, she's excited to meet an adult who will take her and her supernatural exploration seriously. After all, who better to believe her than a real supernatural researcher! She and her twin brother, Dipper, are more than ready to find magic in the Oregon forests around Ford's hometown. So why won't Ford take them on adventures? Determined, Mabel sets out to make her own discoveries - with or without her grumpy old uncle. When she finds a psychotic showgirl (with magical powers), a mysterious boy (also with magical powers), and a triangular demon (with probably the most perilous powers of all), Mabel realizes that Ford is right about at least one thing: In Gravity Rises, Oregon, you can find danger in the most unexpected places. [SEASON ONE] [This book is a paranormal fantasy that is also a fanfiction for Gravity Falls. However, it is in the fantasy genre because it is written to appeal to all fantasy fans, not just those who are familiar with Gravity Falls. The story is both self-contained and internally consistent.] [This is the official story for the Gravity Rises AU. The original creator was Sorophora/nelauk, and it has since been adopted by me, Brightness Wings. I also made this cover myself using art by Sorophora. Pacifica Pines doesn't know why the town of Gravity Falls rings a bell, but when her parents and cousin decide to stay the spring break with an old paranormal researcher IN that very town, she only becomes more determined to find out why it's so familiar. Her cousin, Gideon Pines, makes sure they have fun along the way, but the two soon discover that Gravity Falls isn't what it seems. * [Forest of Riddles is my own take on the Gravity Falls AU known as Reverse Falls, where Pacifica and Gideon are the mystery-solving duo and Mabel and Dipper are the Gleefuls. The swaps are Mabel-Gideon, Dipper-Pacifica, and other characters swapped with other characters.] [I didn't come up with the idea of Reverse Falls, but I did mainly come up with the plot/characters, which are based on Gravity Falls. So, after The Stanchurian Candidate, I decided to experiment a bit with this new character. -Minor Spoilers- Tad Strange is ironically the most normal person in Gravity Falls. "Why is that?" Dipper once asked. Tad replied. "The supernatural and I have a mutual avoidance, I suppose." After further exploration, what will they find about Tad Strange? Is he normal? Or is he... a tad strange?
