Twenty-one years ago, the infamous Dr. Black Jack, then a child, and his mother suffered near-fatal injuries due to an explosion. In order to save him, Dr. Jotaro Honma had to perform a miraculous operation, which led to the boy becoming a surgeon. There are those who attack him because he practices without a license and asks for high fees, such as that one detective who hunts those who practice without a license. However, he could care less about what they think. Now, he lives with his adopted daughter Pinoko, who despite looking like a little girl, is actually eighteen years old, and his childhood best friend Dr. (Y/n) (L/n), another unlicensed surgeon who joined him as his operating room nurse.
