Wanneer Lucy's ouders overlijden heeft Lucy het gehad. De herinneringen aan haar moeilijke schoolleven en het idee dat ze nu alleen is, is teveel. Ze doet een zelfmoordpoging die tot mislukking lijdt. Maar weinig mensen weten dat Lucy nog in leven is en daar maakt ze gebruik van. Lucy verandert haar uiterlijk, haar naam en haar ego. Na twee jaar gaat ze terug naar haar oude school waar ze opnieuw de mensen ontmoet die haar leven tot een hel hadden gemaakt, maar zoals verwacht word ze niet herkent, dit geeft Lucy, nee Jade zoals ze nu heet, een kans.
