Marissa was your average girl until she had to move hours away from her family. Both parents worked non stop and barely had enough time to take care of themselves let alone keep tabs on an 17 year old girl She move in her Auntie Deb, Uncle Peter and Cousin Jessica. Marissa and Jessica have always been close and thick as thieves and growing up hasn't changed this Jessica is there for Marissa to show her the ropes of the new school.
