Dedicated to my husband Steven without who's bravery this book would not exist. It is hard to believe that hearing three little words, "I have cancer" can change a family and one's life so drastically. This is the story of what we as a family went through and experienced while dealing with a terminally ill member of the family. Caring for him yet still trying to maintain our own lives and sanity as best we could.

A whole bunch of poems that I have been writing since 1986 reflecting my personal feelings about my life experiences and thoughts. I wrote these poems here to share with people who might have experienced the same emotions and experiences as myself. Most of these poems were written in a depressive state but help you see the light through the pain. You will also find some if them in my cancer book because I had a lot of struggles and pain during the the time that my husband had cancer.
