She looked up, tears drenching her dark eyelashes. She sees him in the obsidian shadows of the room. A scream is stuck in her throat, unable to erupt from her mouth. She tries to turn and run, but as she moves her feet and takes a step, muscly arms encircle her waist. She feels her body lift above the ground, and seconds later her back slams against the wall. His fingers dig into her wrists, making her feel a stinging pain shoot up her arms. Her eyes are shut tight. 'Open your eyes'. She keeps them shut. 'Open your eyes, angel'. Her head is twisted to side, wanting to melt into the wall. His broad chest pressed up against every inch of her skin. He slams her against the wall again, making her yelp in pain, 'I SAID OPEN YOUR EYES!' She opens them slowly and looks at his face. She can see his eyes, black pools of emotion. Obsession. Lust. Possessiveness. Desire. Love. Dominance. Angelica Ziva Kareem. A beautiful, young woman, who aspires to complete her degree in Medicine. Her dream? During the years of 1971 and 1972, strange things started to happen to a little girl's family and no one could figure out why. Ruby was given a diary to write down her day to day life during this time period, and very odd and frightening things are written and described in it. Short after, she dies of mysterious circumstances and no one can figure out what has happened; if it is a curse or something more sinister. This is Ruby's diary. The mystery of Ruby Greene and her strange diary began back in the years of 1971 and 1972. After the young girl was found dead, alone with no one around and nothing but her diary left behind, police decided to take it in for investigating. The dark, horrid and strange things written raised many questions for it to not be ignored. Detectives, law enforcement and even paranormal investigators tried to tackle the case but no one could solve it. Except for one young detective, Angel Grove, who just couldn't seem to let the case go. She knew there's something far beyond anyone's knowledge that happened with Ruby and it became her main goal to figure it all out. But it only leads her down a very dark, eerie path, leading her to something she never expected. Demons? MK-Ultra links? Murder? Whatever started this whole thing, you're about to find out now.

Now she's being trained by Ben, another patient, with the skin of a snake, on how to behave. Diana and Ben are forced to work together to try to escape the murderous doctors - until she discovers Ben might not be the victim he makes himself out to be. The only person Diana can trust is herself, and if she fails, her eyes won't give her another nine lives.
