Takes place after NATM3, but Larry kept his job, the "night program" didn't return, and there are more homes and buildings in the western diorama. I do not own Night at the Museum, please don't sue me. Jan 2022 update: (I wrote this story when I was 15, I didn't know about abuse and just wrote this line to be funny. I have since grown up and learned about how certain things are toxic and how I unintentially added some toxic elements to this story. I have thought about editing this portion but decided to leave it as a reminder that I have come a long way as a writer. So there is a small amount of abuse in this story and it may be upsetting to some viewer.)

He isn't a coward, he has participated in wars for the gods' sake! He is a Roman general. General's don't show fear. Nothing is supposed to scare them. But he guesses that it's okay to be scared. There's a new diorama added to the museum, a diorama filled with Filipinos from the Philippine-American war era. Jed and Octavius was told there is a general, and they want to meet them. Little does Octavius know that the general they meet starts to get all smitten with Jedediah. will Octavius keep all this jealousy he's hiding, or will he confess to the cowman before he loses the chance?

Just a long one shot of our favorite roman and cowboy where they are 12th graders. Octavius likes Jedediah, since 8th grade actually. He knows he needs to confess before they graduate and possibly leave each other for college. He starts with giving gifts with notes on it,until he is ready to tell the cowboy in person. Will both of them finally own up to their feelings and tell one another how they feel, or will things become worse?
