You have visions that become more frequent the closer you get to the mountain, and you continue in fear of what is to come.

Quick disclaimer: If you don't like Rui in "that" way and you just want him as a sibling I suggest going to a different story! I couldn't find any story's about Y/N and Rui being more then family so I decided to make one! Also you have either bin aged up or down depending on your age. Y/N is a girl who has always loved bugs, more specifically spiders. Rui had gotten rid of more then half of his family either from be-trail, run away, or they had gotten killed by the demon slayers. That night when Y/N became a demon Muzan had had given her the powers of an Upper-Moon! How will this play out? Will they fall in love? Stay siblings? Will there be blood on there hands? Will Y/N or Rui kill for one another? Read to find out!

He remembers the warmth of her back as she often carried him around the house. While she does the chores in a splendid manner, keeping it clean and free of dust. He remembers those words she would speak to him when putting him to sleep. He remembers being adopted into her family, only to bring great tragedy. Yet, she didn't blame him in any sort of way. Telling him that it was God's choice to take away her family. He remembers her effort in protecting himself back then, preventing him from getting killed. Trying her best to gain the trust and faith of all the demon slayers she has crossed path with. Only to become, the Shadow Hashira that vowed to return him to human.

This is a platonic relationship since Rui is a child. The reader is just someone who is meant to care for him. And over time the reader just accepts it as their life, maybe even harboring some nurturing feelings towards him? We'll see how it goes.
