Well, i wouldn't like to say my real name. Just let it stay Maggie. In "WHAT DO I DO?", I am just describing some real life situations with fake characters. While reading, some may feel at some point that it describes them. Then, see if the other characters in the book are happy with your kind of life. And react accordingly and understandingly using your common sense. Then, people shall like you more and your life shall also change. And if its negative, don't take it too personal.
