Shinji was emotionless, as if he had nothing to receive and give. As if- What is that you wish from me? This is a story about the dream where shinji was in another reality. This is my first project, so please don't be too hard on me. So basically this will be without any Eva's, no angels, and basically drain all NGE elements. The characters will be the same. No one has parent issues. And all is well with our characters. Just like the alternate reality Shinji had saw. I hope y'all enjoy this.

This is the first actually story that I have thinking about making for a while so please bare with me since this is fanfic. For the story of Neon genesis I'll be going by the anime and the manga with my own bits here and there. In the present day, monsters known as Angels terrorize humanity by trying to cause the third impact. With normal weapons from bullets to nuclear weapons not affecting them, a company known as Smart brain takes it upon themselves to create equipment to fend off the Angels. As NERV was being raided the Human Instrumentality project was activated, it seemed as if humanity was going to be fused into one, until Shinji Ikari in his Eva Unit 01 stopped it and became a hero to the world. Almost 2 years later, and the new NERV organization became shocked at discovering that other countries now had Evangelions. But not just three like NERV had, but an army of them. The leaders of the two races found themselves on a primitive planet where they fought to the death and caused an explosion equal to the big bang later called "The second impact". A few million years later, the human race found the corpses of the two leaders and caused a cataclysmic event that sent a signal to the others of their races. With giant aliens on the way, humanity uses the technology from the alien corpses to allow a certain few to become Ultraman. Shinji has noticed that his father doesn't seem to acknowledge his own sons existence. He instead finds out that his dad is Taking a liking to his friend Rei. Shinji comes to the conclusion that His father dislikes him because of his gender, and Shinji wants to change that.

He doesn't know why he's here. Or even how he got here in the first place. All he knows is that he's suddenly found himself in another world , surrounded by people he shouldn't be able to meet, living in a world that should not exist, facing a threat that only resided in the anime and manga of evangelion, but has now become very real incredible thereat. Follow the Story of (F/N) (L/N) as he navigates a new world with characters he's only known on TV, and now he's sitting next to them at lunch and at NERV. He's only got one mission: To stop the Third Impact at all costs... or die trying (Well if not dying is an option than he'll take it) But will his efforts to stop the Apocalypse get him into the dangerous three way crossfire of The Angles, SEELE and Gendo, as they all race for the chance to enact Instrumentality for their own personal goals some more personal and others more grandiose, so in order for (F/N) beat them all, he will need to optimise his knowledge of future events of the series to the fullest if he's to even have the chance of stopping fate itself. But while trying to do this his actions and very presence will cause unseen consequences as throughout his journey he will gather allies, create enemies for himself, discover and expose the secrets of some of the main cast, all in the potential hope of thwarting the efforts of Gendo and SEELE in order to change the fate of everyone and everything on the planet Earth. The fate of the world used to belong to Shinji... But that's all about to change.
