His eyes flicker from the cake---chocolate, like always---to look Brother in the eyes but even his presence there feels lukewarm. Brother looks like he's in pain, but it's a bit hard to tell in the pale glow of the moonlight. "D-Do you think...that a rose bush is gonna grow out of me?" He croaks, voice rough and gravelly. Brother doesn't seem to understand so he laughs, though it doesn't sound very happy to Katsuki's ears. "Why would a rose bush grow out of you, little brother?" Katsuki's throat hurts so bad, it feels like he's swallowed sandpaper. It's dry and scratchy and almost makes it hard to breathe. It takes him a moment before he's able to find his voice again. Tenya isn't sure of what part of his situation leaves him with a thumping heart and a dry mouth. This isn't his first time laying eyes on Katsuki Bakugou by a long shot. In fact, he's been looking at him almost every single day for several semesters now---sometimes with eyes much too inappropriate to be becoming of a future hero. It could be the oddly shocking new knowledge that the explosive teen is working a part-time at some no-name diner against the rules of U.A's hero course. But he's willing to bet it's everything to do with that skimpy little uniform he's wearing. or, Iida pines over our favorite blasty boy and is actually really bad at taking hints.

Being stepped on and trampled over by drunk and horny college students is not fun. "I'm fuckin' astounded that you honestly consider this fun." "If you'd just stop bitching for ten minutes and try to enjoy yourself, it might not be so bad," Shouto counters, waving down the barkeep to get a refill. "Fuckin' waste of time is what it is." "Compared to what? Sitting in our apartment stress eating and crying over your absolute twat of an ex-boyfriend all day?" "Fuck you." He glances down into the cup he'd been babysitting to see something dark and sweet, promises of a blackout and a hangover staring back at him. "What even is this shit?" "Hopefully something that'll get you to fucking relax. You've been on my nerves all week with this shit." "It's only tuesday, you fuck." "My point exactly." "Fuck you." Or, Katsuki's best friend abandons him at a night club in hopes to get him over a bad breakup.

Damned Deku one-uping him on the tests, his hearing aids on the constant fritz, Dunce-head hurting himself again, and that Stupid Icy-Hot with his passive-aggressive mind games about his absolute man crush that is Red Riot. As if he didn't already have enough problems. But Mr. Aizawa says "play nice," so that's exactly what Bakugo intends to do. But Bakugo finds the redhead's smile hides more than anyone could have thought, and as Kirishima's dreams draw closer, so does a past he thought he'd left behind.
