Seven chaos emeralds are out there, and Shadow needs them for personal use. He has no intention of sharing, but he does in fact need help getting them. As long as he pretends to be working for Robotnik, he has assets. Those assets are Rouge, Omega, a few weapons, and a rough idea of where the emeralds actually are. Despite needing his teammates and hating relying on people, he starts to admit they can be useful, and almost enjoyable to be around. But don't tell them he said that.

An alternate universe based in Transformers Prime where Megatron, the Gladiator of Kaon, has a younger brother who travelled the universe a few years after the war on Cybertron first began. One day on earth, Team Prime discovers the younger gladiator's pod and bring him back to base, where they soon discover who he really is.
