She's a wild, free spirit who sees the good in everyone, and he's the hardened, bad-tempered loner who wants nothing to do with her-yet no matter how hard he tries to push her away, she's the one temptation he can't escape. *** He's never met someone with such a bubbly personality. Not to mention the wildness and odd phrases she says every five minutes. He hates it. He hates how he can't stay away from it. He hates what she does to him; it's not like him to chase after some girl. She gets under his skin like no other. She's never met someone with such a bad attitude. He's ill-mannered and menacing. The glare never seems to leave his face. Considering it all, she can't help but feel the attraction toward him. Dangerous attraction toward a seemingly dangerous man. Maybe it's the tattoos on his arm that gets her attention. Or maybe it's because she can tell there's hope for good under his rough exterior. And she's about to find it, whether he likes it or not. It's no secret that the two of them are complete and total opposites. *** "You like being called Sugar, don't you?" I tease, placing my toothbrush back after finishing. He does the same and gives me a side-eyed scowl. He grips my chin harshly and kisses me. My body temperature raises a good ten degrees and my right leg goes all wiggly. He pulls away. "You like it when I kiss you, don't you?" He teases the same way I did to him and I'm left blubbering. "I think both of our questions are rhetorical," I lower my voice up at him. His lip curls up into a smirk. *** #1 in Young Adult #9 in Badboy #1 in Cold #3 in Goodgirl #1 in Sweetheart #14 in Love *** *Warning* This story contains mature themes (language, scenes)

"Trouble is my middle name." ~ Lillian Nightshade is a metaphorical rock in SHIELD's boot, one that not only has a mouth snarkier and more sarcastic than the hypothetical (and entirely impossible) baby of Tony Stark and Deadpool, but has a certain knack for slipping from the authorities' grasp on a regular basis. She's arrogant, she's witty, she's satirical, she's immature and she's one of the best damn assassins in the industry. Steve Rogers is the hero every man wants to be. He has a strong sense of duty, honour, dignity and humility, with old fashioned, idealistic goals that would make the world a better place. Some - namely Stark - would call him a stick in the mud and make a mockery of him by pinning him with obscene names like 'Fourth of July Stripper' or 'Walking Flagpole', but in the end, he's America's sweetheart with a golden legacy that will last for generations. So it's only natural that the two complete opposites - who are also each other's enemies- to clash the moment they meet one another, yes? Filled with action, revenge, old adversaries, humour and of course the lovely drizzle of a bipolar romance, this is the story of how a narcissistic assassin falls for one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Her enemy. "If this is a game, then you're playing too," he says softly, stepping closer, "and if you're playing too, then either one of us could be the winner." You watch him closely. The man's eyes are dark, beautiful, and alight as he looks back at you, the tension in the air impossible to mistake and suddenly you're wondering if perhaps you can win this after all. "Or both of us," you say delicately.

★ 1940s Era ★ Slowburn ★ Seer MC ★ Horror Elements ★ 'Well they say a burnt child loves the fire.' The words sit there on the page and I wonder briefly, wildly, if he'll recognise them. Surely not. But I can so clearly imagine him in his dorm reading them all the same, sitting on his bed, legs outstretched, diary on his lap, lonesome candle lighting his way. A moment later, his tidy script appears just beneath mine and my stomach twists in horror. 'They say what fire does not destroy, it hardens.'

Ophelia wasn't who she claimed. She had a secret. A secret that could get her killed, hunted like an animal by just about every witch and wizard in the world seeking leverage or revenge against a certain... someone. Concealing a secret that so blatantly revealed itself in her appearance was no easy task, but, aided by Dumbledore and a carefully crafted act of mediocrity, she managed to get by unnoticed for years at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, until accidentally crossing paths with the one person perceptive enough to see the cracks in her facade and curious enough to look for more. Tom Riddle's intrusive nature was going to ruin everything she'd worked for if she wasn't careful, and she had a lot more to worry about than simply being expelled... *formerly titled RIDDLE

In Horace Slughorn's defence, he couldn't have known that all this would happen. All he had wanted to do was play match-maker between his two favourite students, Tom Riddle and Artemis Potter. ~*~*~*~ Tom Riddle had very mixed feelings about his potions partner, Artemis Potter. Somedays, he wanted to repeatedly use 'silencio' on her. Somedays, he just wanted to kill her. Somedays, he wished she never existed. Then, there were somedays that he remembered every little thing he loved about her and those were the days that he detested the most. My first instinct was to swim away and hide like I always did- But it felt like there was that same invisible string that wrapped around the thin osseins of my ribs, tying me and luring me to him- He had the end of the rope in between his fingers, pulling me and tugging me whenever he'd like. He had all power against me My body was an inch away from the glass. I placed my hand on the glass, desperately wanting to feel the material- it squeaked as I slid it down slightly. I stopped moving my hand when I saw him placing his directly over mine. I felt my eyes glow again for the first time since our last clandestine meeting. Although the waters were cold, numbing, and could freeze me on the spot if I hadn't moved to radiate the heat in me- The glass touch was enough to keep my blood from turning solid, as I felt like I had been melting into a puddle with every tug he made on that thin string.
