This was a story that I wrote about two years ago on another fan fiction board. I want to become inspired to write again so I decided to post this story to see the feedback from new readers. If everyone likes this story, I may be inspired to write again. Or I'll just publish a few of my other works on the site. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy! Shawn Carter, 32 is a single father. His world was turned upside down just a year ago when his wife Marie of five years died unexpectedly. Shawn adored his wife, they were soul mates; she was his first and what he believed would be his last. Although he was hurting and deeply sadden by his wifes passing he had no time to mourn. His priorities had now shifted. Although he had been a father for nearly two years his life would be forever changed. Kennedy Marie was the name he picked out for his daughter.
