Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few humans aware that this folklore was more than a mere legend, although slightly altered, but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her. (Y/N) was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power to their legacy and supremacy but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was so much more. As the Sozins Comet approaches and the Avatar Aang prepares to face Firelord Ozai with the help of his friends, it's clear that Zuko and (Y/N)'s paths are more far apart than they know.
