DESCRIPTION ______________ Briar's family was taken and locked away as hostages in the dungeons of the Emberson family. It was there she stayed, imprisoned, until she was forced into a marriage that she had no say in. Now Briar can only wish that she was back in her dark, lonely cell because she did not realize that things would get worse for her. So much worse.

A girl trapped by her own nightmares and the consequences of the choices she made for herself. A young woman facing the world while it was rumbling constantly and the only salvation she had was the one she broke herself. Her lost self was nowhere to be found except for the ugly parts that she was left with, unable to identify her present self and affecting her future with her absurdity. Diadra, a 20-year-old with a roof over her head but no real home to live, struggling to overcome her mental health and untreated trauma all by herself. But will she be able to go through the darkness of this world without loosing one part of herself each time?
