"The sound of sirens muzzled, and the scent in the air was similar to a doctor's office. Irene was getting a headache from the bumpy roads. The crunchy blue pillows were no big help to that either. She wanted to speak, but something was disabling her to do so. Irene turned her fragile head to her side, now looking at a man.". Irene is a little old lady who has no one but her son left in her life. She thinks he is on her side, but what he ended up doing was unforgivable. Irene lives in her worst nightmare.
