Link had no idea what was going on. Hyrule had been saved, everything seemed as though it was perfectly on track again. With the Princess rescued and his duty by her side restored, he was almost certain that everything was finally over. Until his skin begins to illuminate with strange markings, not completely recognised by any close to him. Only the Zora Prince, Sidon, can help him, before the dark magic within these runes completely warps Link into a vessel suitable to possess. Sometimes, Link just needs someone to truly believe in him.

Shortly after the defeat of the Calamity our hero, Link, finds himself in a rather unpredictable circumstance. Not only will he have to get used to his new appearance after a freak accident with some malice, but learn to control his new abilities. The prince of the Zoras has fallen madly in love with the Hylian Champion. Link, oblivious to these feelings that were so inexplicably apparent, agreed to stay with the Zoras for a few weeks after his great feat of defeating Calamity Gabon. Who knew that this supposed "few weeks" would turn into a lifetime? (Romantically One-sided)

With Hyrule on the verge of destruction from the massive civil war that's broken out, Link questions whether or not his life should come to an end. Then, he meets the charming Zora prince, Sidon. Sidon's positive attitude lifts Link's spirits up, and makes him think that maybe there is an end to this war. Link soon falls in love with the prince, but struggles to fight against the demons that rampage inside him, keeping him from being completely happy. Started: 8/27/17-? Sidlink fanfic. This story takes place after the events of botw but before totk at this point Link has already defeated Ganon. Having forgotten his past once, after waking from his hundred year slumber, Link keeps a journal as to not forget again. As he journeys to save Hyrule he's confronted with his past, present, and future. Making new friends only to leave them, grieving his fallen comrades new and old, and dealing with a threat that seems to weigh on him even more than Calamity Gannon; his own fears of isolation and loneliness on this long tiring journey. Pre Written Story. Completed upon upload. Link had given up on Zelda's appointed knight hood duty. His dances with death all too close to him, and with the calamity dead he rode off with Zelda in tow to meet with Sidon and discuss the misfortune upon Divine Beast Vah Rutah. Yet instead finding that because of his long travels with a young woman she was impregnated and betrothed. Also because of Zora customs, Link was set to marry Sidon because of Mipha wishing to marry him when she lived. Between raising a child and becoming a new royal escort. A war begins to brew between Goron and Zora. This was merely the start of how Hyrule began falling apart.

Link defeats the Lynel atop Shatterback Point, and in result becomes heavily injured. Sidon takes it upon himself to help Link out anyway he can.
