It was her. Long hair so black almost blue. Her smile was so wide it was hard not to smile with; eyes so haunted it was hard not to wonder why. How could someone seem so happy but so hurt. She intrigued me to no end and I found myself wanting to know her not just her favorite movie and why she refuses to eat skittles without separating the colors. But her worst fears and biggest desires. It was her creating this wanting and longing inside of me to get to know her. How could a stranger be so familiar but so new was beyond me. But I had to. I had to have her. -------------------------------------------- It was him, staring at me from across the room. Most would find this creepy and would immediately feel uncomfortable. But to me, It was the complete opposite. Something about him made me feel like he would protect me from everything. It was him who seemed almost familiar. Like I had known him my entire life. And something told me I needed to know him. But needing something and having the guts to get it was something beyond my comfort zone.
