Two girls. At school they're total opposites. The cheer captain and the loaner geek. But at home, life isn't all as it's seems. And one teacher, and their relentless assignments, bring them closer together. *** "You missed me?" I ask as if it's such a shock because to me it is. I'm a nobody. "Hm." She hums with a nod, "I didn't really know how to ask you if you wanted to hang out again, and well, thanks to my fucked up life, here we are, I found an excuse." "You do realise you can just ask me?" I'm a hypocrite, I couldn't do it either. "I know, but honestly, you kind of intimidate me and I just kinda thought maybe just a small part of you thought it was just about the projects."

"So yeah, that was all". "Don't do that" I give her a look. "Do what?" "Let me in a little and then shut me out". "First off, I've never done that" she chuckles, "second, I just told you what was wrong with me- what else do you need Claire Mason?" "I don't know- tell me anything- something more" then I grin as I add, "Sophie Wood". She rolls her eyes at my mockery, it's the prettiest type of eye roll. If anyone else kept repeating my full name, it would probably be annoying- but that's just the way Sophie Wood makes things: not annoying, pretty, perfect. It's the way she is without even trying. . . . Claire Mason is scary. At least, that's what her peers have deemed her to be. The shortest person in her junior class, the grumpiest person in her friend group-AND sandwiched between three siblings who all have their own unique things going for them-Claire never stood a chance. Sophie Wood is stuck-up. At least, that's what her peers have deemed her to be. Sophie is the girliest girl she's ever known, the most popular junior in her school-and the next best co-captain since Claire's super popular, super pretty (and super smart) twin sister. In hindsight, it wouldn't make sense at all if either of these misunderstood girls worlds collide. However, that's just what happens when avoiding neighbors, useless job offers, and curiosity fall into the mix. The bottom line is, pretty soon-feelings are BOUND to get involved during all of their bookstore bonding.

Raven came out of the closet hoping for acceptance but her overly religious reserved father turned out to be an extreme homophobe hence taking the measure of sending Raven to live with nuns while they 'cure' her gay away. But could he have predicted sending his gay daughter to a place full of women would only back fire?. "We are here to pray Raven" Mother Superior glared at me in warning. "All we do is pray. Can we discuss how you have managed to be a 36 year old virgin?" I ask the very strict uptight woman in front of me. "I committed to celibacy and purity" "Yes but does that mean you never get worked up. You obviously still have hormones and I'm sure you get wet sometimes" "Raven!"

"Lily." she said my name, the letters falling from her mouth like petals wilting from a flower of sin. I didn't respond. Not because I didn't want to. I just didn't know what to say. "I am not going to leave this place without you. I know that I messed up before, but my biggest mistake of all would be losing you. I refuse to let that happen." 𓃠 𓃠𓃠 My name is Lily Lovelace, and I am as bubbly and feminine as my name is. I've moved around with my family from country to country due to my father's job. Due to my unstable and nomadic lifestyle, I've become closed off to true connection despite my strong desire for passion and romance. My heart found itself caught between its hunger for love and the safety of solitude. Eventually we settled down in the rural parts of Italy. I never would have expected to meet a fiery young woman all the way from New York City, with hair akin to a lion's mane and the personality of a cunning fox. Oh, Zafina Mustafa, the woman that you are. 𓃠 𓃠𓃠

"I've never been with a woman before." I was an echo chamber to her words as I made my admission shyly, looking away as my face grew hot with embarrassment. I wasn't lying. I never had been with a woman before. Especially not an older, well respected and successful woman. Vivian Black took me by my chin, forcing me to look her in the eyes, "Let me change that." I watched and allowed her to trace circles into my hip, "What about the men I told you about? She let out a small laugh, her lips now on my neck and her hand in between my legs, "I'll make you forget all about them."

Aurora Kensington has spent years trying to silence the voice in her head-the one that sounds too much like Briar Holloway. The girl who was once her best friend. The girl who came out to her. The girl she pushed away. Now eighteen, Aurora is desperate to prove she's everything she's supposed to be: a good daughter, a devoted Catholic, normal. But no matter how hard she prays, no matter how many rules she follows, she can't shake the feeling that something inside her is broken. And when she sees the lights on in the Holloway house for the first time in years, something deep in her chest stirs. She doesn't know Briar is back. Not until she turns around at a party and finds her standing there. Briar never planned to return to Chapelwood, but with her family drowning in debt and her grandmother's health failing, she had no choice. She tells herself she doesn't care about Aurora anymore-that she only came to this party because she thought it'd be funny. But the second their eyes meet, the past slams into her like a tremor. Old wounds. Old feelings. Ones that never truly faded. Because "love" (if you can call it that) like theirs doesn't disappear. It fractures. It festers. It trembles under the weight of everything unsaid. And if they're not careful, it might just swallow them whole. But none of it truly matters anyway. Not unless Aurora is willing to face the truth about herself. A story about love, sin, and the thin line between devotion and obsession.

Valeria Galvez and Olivia Edwards are the unexpected pair of best friends. Their love for each other has always been friendly, platonic. But somewhere down the line, Olivia begins questioning her sexuality and wondering if maybe her feelings for Val are more than just friends. Does Val feel the same way or is Liv accidentally falling in love with her best friend? Friends to lovers trope! I love all things jealousy so I did my best to include a bunch of that! Enjoyyyyyy :)) P.S. There is a sequel so you can enjoy reading about these two girls for a while!
