Although Orpheus is a Vampyrum Spectral bat and a prince in Goth's royal lineage, he refuses to eat smaller bats. As tensions rise, the Silverwing colony and the owls must find a way back to Canada, while facing the looming threat of Goth's revenge and the possible resurrection of Camazotz, who seeks to destroy the sun.
