Raven goes back to college for the third time. She's excited about seeing her old friends and making new ones as well. She's sad when she finds out her favorite art professor has retired, especially since Mrs. Pyle was her favorite teacher. When she gets to meet the new professor, her life changes forever.

Ember starts her third year of college with high hopes even though she knows she won't be seeing any of her friends this year. Many of them have transferred to other colleges and universities, which is a little stressful. Making friends isn't easy for Ember especially since she's shy and a bit of a loner. But when her poetry professor takes a liking towards her, things get way more complicated. His actions are out of friendship.
