Jack Gordon has wanted nothing more in his life than to be what his father always thought he could: a writer. After Jack's father mysteriously disappears before the end of his junior year of high school, he decides to document the events of his summer in the form of letters. At first he has a major case of Writer's Block, that is, until he meets Beth Gannon and her best friend, Ellen when they come to vacation in Jack's town for the summer. Ever since her tragic breakup with her boyfriend, Travis, Beth has tried to escape the good-girl persona she's had her entire life. She knows we've only one life to live, so why not choose now to live it? The problem is that Jack and his friends have an awful game that they like to play: One and Done, a series of One-Night-Stands. Jack is given the challenge of sleeping with Beth before she leaves his town or he'll have to give up his reigning spot of captain of the varsity baseball team to his best friend, Chris. He's worked hard for that spot and is determined to keep it. With his newfound interest in Beth, and his newfound interest in finding his father, Jack's summer is about to get a lot more interesting.

*AVAILABLE ON AMAZON* The first in the ROUGE series ... Hunter Harrison is no superhero. She doesn't wear a cape, or a lycra suit, or prance around dark alleyways looking for punk-ass kids to torment. But Hunter has a power; the power to control fire. And it is one nasty flame brewing in her soul. In the midst of her senior year, uncovering the truth about her parent's death and how she came to inherit such abilities, and falling in love with a nerdy activist from her school, Hunter finds herself in a battle with a supernatural flame that reacts to her every emotion. Anger, fear, even passion arouse the flame within and Hunter fights to keep her identity secret whilst also protecting those she loves. But being a hero is easier said than done, especially when tragedy strikes and Hunter is forced to make a choice; let the fire take control and seek revenge for her loss, or walk away. But mercy is a bitch, especially when there's a fire boiling inside her hotter than the darkest pits of hell. Cover by Renu Sharma | www.thedarkrayne.com

In a Futurist-Victorian London, Ex-Carnie Victor Hart makes his living as a dinner party entertainer and mountebank, using the skills taught to him by his Romani mother – the Patterns. When tragedy strikes a wealthy friend, Victor Hart puts his skills to use in an alternative manner. This Steampunk London has its fair share of psychos, sickos, and sadists, and it takes a special kind of mind to hunt them. Victor sees human behaviour in a way few others can understand but only as an outsider; certain parts of his humanity are missing and that disturbs him. As he solves each seemingly unrelated case, a dark pattern slowly begins to reveal itself threatening the heart of the British Empire and even what we feel makes us human. A Steampunk-detective-noir, darker than most, the first volume features four thrilling cases; the first novel in a Duology.
