Izuku Midoriya is freshly graduated from UA High School and ready to jump head first into the hero world! He leaps at the chance to take on his first big mission: going undercover to infiltrate an up-and-coming villain group, the leader of which is a complete unknown. They have an alias, Mindjack, and a vague idea of his quirk, some sort of mental ability capable of controlling his victim's actions. Izuku's job is to get in and find the kingpin of the organization. What could possibly go wrong? Yeah, so this fic is going to completely ignore like the last twoish season of the anime because I said so. Izuku keeps his quirks because he does and like all the league villains are gonna be in this because I don't want to come up with new characters and quirks. That plan goes to shit when he reconnects with Katsuki Bakugou and, subsequently, his group of misfit friends. He thinks he has it handled, that he can just ignore the blond guy he vaguely considers a brother and move on with his life. His amazing backup plan goes to shit when Hitoshi Shinsou starts to be just a little too much of a bad influence. I'm hyper fixating on this recovering troubled kid trope and you can pry it from my cold dead hands. No quirk au obviously Shoto and Katsuki are just Izuku's big scary brothers in this.

Izuku was relearning how to be a normal teenager again, with the help of his two amazing boyfriends and their three friends. He's ready for his last semester of high school, almost finished with the worst four years of his life. His final semester takes a sudden turn when Inko Midoriya announces that Shinsou, Izuku's best friend and ex boyfriend, and his mother are going to be moving into their three bedroom house, for the remainder of the school year. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I wasn't lying when I said I could write a second book just about the Shinsou drama. The redhead was rubbing the back of his neck with a frown directed at the sidewalk below him. "Not today, probably not tomorrow, but... One day I'll get you back, Kacchan. You can count on it."
