This book is primarily fun shenanigans with Catnap and Dogday [the main focus] as well as some others such as Kickin and Bubba! Some connected, some aren't. All characters are over 18, and are the cartoon variants Dogday and Catnap have been best friends for quite a while now, doing all sorts of things together, such as playing with the other critters, hanging out, and even sleeping [although that last part is Catnap's little secret]. On one fateful day, Bobby suggests that Dogday tries to spend some time alone with Catnap, especially because of his feelings for his friend. Dogday, and the other critters, however, disagree with his beliefs. The cat punished them according. Dogday in particular took the brunt of said punishment, as Catnap nearly manages to kill him. Until something mysterious happens once Catnap uses his signature poppy gas. He finds himself falling unconcious to the poppy gas himself, as Dogday wakes up in a new, yet familiar world.
