Nathalie was helping Gabriel with his designs one night when she got a call from her land lord, saying that she had been kicked out of her apartment. She ran had to take all of her things and try to find somewhere else to live, Gabriel says she can stay with him and gives her a separate room, but now Gabriel has to decide wether he wants Emilie back, or if he realizes he does love Nathalie.

But Gabriel had other plans. Mayura fell into a cough fit and soon got dizzy. This soon made Hawkmoth realize that the one he loved was her. At first he denied it but it got to the point, he couldn't. He cared too much about Nathalie and he wasn't gonna lose her over someone who already passed away basically. Gabriel took it in hand and decided to show Nathalie all affection possible. Take it slow. Nathalie's sister, Elerslie, had other plans. She wanted the boat to sail and she made it happen. Now Nathalie and Gabriel are happy together. But it's quite a bumpy road on the way. Not everything is rainbows and unicorns but nothing can break them apart.

Gabriel Agreste has ignored his feelings for his assistant ever since she started working for him.
