She was a lieutenant whose main goal was to survive and protect, and so was his. She was a notable feared soldier by many, but so was he. To him, Clara was an irrelevant newcomer to the team that he initially viewed as another reputed killer. As they continue to fight alongside one another, she gradually proves him wrong by displaying beyond-comparable qualities, all of which ultimately leave him marvellously intrigued.

A botched mission gets the 141 involved with the NSA. The Agent and Ghost share a professionally distant relationship on the outside. In Ghost's mind, he's much closer to her.
