#WATTYS2014 HQ LOVE AWARD! There's a darkness that lurks in the City of Light Seventeen-year-old Connor Lewis is chased by a memory. On his first day of kindergarten he bit a boy hard enough to scar the kid for life. Since then he's been a social outcast at a New York private school. Through an unexpected turn of good fortune, he lands a scholarship to study in Paris, where everything starts to look up. On the first day he befriends two military brats, and he may finally get a taste of what it's like to be a normal teenager. It doesn't last. His host family - an alluring young tattoo artist and her moody, handsome boyfriend - inadvertently introduce him to the underworld of werewolves where there are two types: the born and the bitten. Those born to it take the form of elegant wolves, while the latter are cursed to transform into the half-man, half-beast creatures of horror movies. The bitten rarely survive. Unfortunately, Connor is on the wanted list of a four hundred-year-old bitten human who's searching for both a cure and a means of wiping out werewolves for good. Connor's loyalties are tested as he becomes embroiled in a conflict where werewolves, mad science and teen angst collide. POSTING ON TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS! "Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." -Marcus Aurelius Every story has two sides, or in this case, seven. High school is filled with teenage angst, excitement, boredom, secrets, judgement, the occasional pregnancies, homework, and much more. Union Valley High is no different. But attending the same high school does not mean ending with the same outcome. See for yourself through the ultimate perspective of seven candidates: An artist, decorating the walls of abandoned [and not so abandoned] buildings during the secrecy that is night. A Brit, forced out of house and home, struggling to please a pretentious parent. A girl suffocating in the shadows of her older sister's perfection. A brat, who holds a thick mask to her face everyday, to avoid the complication of being herself. A blind girl, wishing someone could see past her ability /not/ to see, and love her all the same. A sister of three older brothers with personalities so loud, they drown out any thoughts she may have for herself. And a boy with a good heart and a sarcastic mouth, who wishes he could find his way in the world, but has no idea how to go about that. Seven souls, old and young, just trying to make their way through high school with minimal damage.

She didn't fall, she was pushed. Let me explain more, yeah? She was pushed, by her best friends, into a guy- but not just any guy. Cyrus Angelo, the infamous Cyrus Angelo. Maverly Perkins is full of witty comebacks, a loud laugh, and has a fierce attitude. Love doesn't come easy to her but does it to anyone? Just as Maverly is giving up on guys, due to a past experience with a jerk, she's pushed into something she doesn't want to get involved with, literally. No, not something- more like someone; Cyrus Angelo to be exact. But somethings different about him; her usual witty and sarcastic comments become stutters and nervous babbling. What is this feeling in the pit of her stomach? A crush? Love? Of course not. Cyrus Angelo- those are the two words that make guys run and girls swoon. No one talks to him, threatens him, touches him, or talks back to him. The last time any one of these things happened; someone ended up in a hospital for 6 weeks in the intensive care unit. But what happens when Maverly breaks all those rules... within a 2 minute period? After a promise to 'see her later,' too many awkward moments to count, crazy parties where a few people get drunk and tell their life story in full detail, funny experiences of falling, failing, and fighting, terrible flirting, and stupid games of truth or dare- Who knows what could happen? And to think it all started with a push. --- THIS COVER WAS MADE BY A FAN.

To move on from her past, an extraordinary girl must tear down the walls she has built to protect herself. Mackenzie Douglas seems to have it all: good looks, a great boyfriend, a passion for biking, and a little sister who worships her. But under the veneer of perfection lie the emotional scars of her childhood, inflicted by her father. Though her memories have faded with time, the wounds on Mac’s subconscious remain. Having vowed to never be a victim again, Mac focuses on a journey she’s always wanted to take: a summer bike trip on her amazing new RoadCap bike. But as the excursion finally gets underway, memories Mac long ago buried start to claw their way back to the surface, forcing her to confront a past she has done everything she can to forget. To prevent her sister from enduring the same trauma, Mac must let go of everything in which she’s found refuge. To break a cycle that needs to be broken, Mackenzie summons her strength and risks shattering the world she has so carefully built, exposing hidden secrets, long-told lies, and a horrific crime. Hello, Readers! It took me nine years (seriously!) to finish this YA, Dancing With the Devil, and Diversion Books has published it both digitally and in paperback versions. But guess what? I'm also putting it up here on Wattpad, free. Serialized, so it might make you crazy, but still, cool, right? And the whole thing will be here. I'm serializing twice a week every Sunday and Wednesday and the completed story will be one of the Wattpad Featured Stories starting on June 6th. You'll just have to wait to read the whole thing. After it's all up, I get to answer questions in a LIVE Q&A book club! Talking to readers will be a dream come true. One thing I'll always remember is my parents saying "Everyone has a story" "Everyone has a story with a past, tragic or not. Everyone has a story that is meant to go unjudged, even if it was never told" But sometimes we forget that. Like when I though that my guardian was the devil. Even though he taught me how to laugh, how to protect, and even possible how to love. I only asked one thing "Why?" I still remember the one phrase that changed my life"Let me carry her" This one single and normal phrase was said by none other than Cooper Kingsley, our school's and town's bad boy. He was the championship boxer who drove a motorcycle and got into trouble frequently. He's the guy with brown hair that looked soft enough to run my fingers through, the guy with irresistible cold blue eyes and the guy with a built and strong body that made girls crazy. He wasn't your typical player either; no he was just hard to get- A complete tease. And the fact that he would volunteer to help a girl like this, was not normal. So what did Cooper Kingsley want anything to do with the bland and boring me? I was completely and utterly average. Or so I thought. So why did the devil suddenly become my guardian? Let's find out.
