Do you know love at first sight? No? Well, you're about to read it. ~ I cupped her cheeks, "did you not like my kiss sweetheart?" "N-No! Wait yes! Sorry, I'm confused," she tried to figure out what to say. I hummed in response, "I guess I'll just have to do it again so you can decide." I captured her plush pouty lips with my own I groaned as they slid against each other. I pulled her tighter while kissing her roughly. She didn't know where to place her hands on my slick skin. I chuckled and wrapped them around my shoulders. Esme struggled to reach all the way up. She kissed me back and I almost lost myself there. Wolf whistles sounded and I grunted. I pulled away slowly to glare at them and Esme hid against me. They didn't react to my glare considering they were used to it. I met the head coach's gaze who nodded to continue the last fifteen minutes of practice. I grunted and kissed her again. Then again and again down her neck. "We'll go out after I change, sweetheart. Take your car?" She nodded quickly and I patted her butt gently. "Good girl." ~ *this is a fast paced romance! He waited, perhaps how the moon waited for the sun. And I chose to ask more of it-of the ceaseless hope we held in our palms. "Give me tonight, please." "You've got tonight." It was an effortless sentence. A string of words spelling assurance, settling at the far-bottom of my chest. But only when I looked up did I realize that his eyes held the words: you've got my tomorrows, too. *** No matter how much she runs, Laura is stuck in an endless loop of her past. With a transfer of school and a curly-haired boy who seems to be wherever she goes, it's a matter of time she realizes that her universe ceases at the sight of him-and running away might have never been an option. ⤫ ⤫ ⤫ [ extended blurb inside ] [ completed - 31.05.23 ] Copyright © Abrial 2020.

At the Nouveau Academy of the Arts and Sciences, all students are required to take either a music or art class before graduating. When Kennedy Marx is denied of her request to switch out of Music Theory, vivid details from her past as a piano prodigy come back to haunt her. At the same time, Griffin King moves into town as his father prepares for a reelection campaign as the current governor. Griffin's schedule is compiled of the remaining courses in Nouveau's rigorous academic program, and by a stroke of luck, Griffin ends up in Music Theory. From the very beginning, Griffin and Kennedy clash for known reasons -- Kennedy has no intentions on rehashing history, but Griffin is hellbent on trying to figure out her mysterious personality. When they both flunk Music Theory, somewhat purposefully, the two are thrown together in a project where they discover that history always finds the most peculiar ways to make a reappearance. When Griffin's family is put under the spotlight after his mother's mysterious disappearance and later discovered murder, Kennedy and Griffin learn that there's a very thin line between hate and lust to lust and love as they work together to piece together a broken society.
