Scorpius Malfoy had a crush on Rose Weasley since first year. She has always despised him, but the summer between 4rth and 5th year may have her re-thinking. Hi! This is my first fanfic! I've never done anything like this before so please be kind! Of course I'm not JK Rowling, so all characters, (besides the ones I made up) all belong to her. Rose Weasley, the daughter of Ron and Hermione Weasley, has been dreaming of going to Hogwarts since the day she found out what it was. Rose and her cousin Albus Potter begin Hogwarts together, though they're sorted into very different houses. Rose Weasley has always been the top of her class. She got it from her mum, the pure determination to soak in all the information that she learned because to her, there was nothing more interesting. But at the start of her sixth year, she is already feeling stumped, and not because of the higher-level N.E.W.T classes that she is taking. No, this is because of a Malfoy. Her parents were never too thrilled that she was friends with the kid, but it didn't stop Rose, especially not when she couldn't even see her best friend/cousin without also seeing him. Along with Rose, Scorpius was also one of the top students in the class. He was her only real competition. And the friendly competition never hurt anyone, well, not until this year. Rose can't put her finger on what it is exactly, that has caused this shift in her friendship with Scorpius and she hates it. She hates not knowing the answers to things, and this one replayed in her head all the time. She's stumped trying to figure it out, of course not realizing that it's her cluelessness that's the real problem. This story is filled with all the different types of love, family, friends, and yes, some romance. Follow Rose on her coming of age journey through her last two years at Hogwarts, where she learns all that she possibly can about magic, and possibly more importantly, about life. ***Note: This story was written before the Cursed Child, so not everything is completely "cannon" but more of my ideas on the next generation before the Cursed Child even came out. Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy aren't really getting along on Hogwarts. Rose's father, the famous Ron Weasley, isn't exactly helping her at that point. As Head Boy and Head Girl they somewhere have the duty to be a little bit nice to each other, but the minute Rose let Scorpius in, she knows she can't be hiding these strong feelings she has for him forever. But what are these strong feelings? Love...or hate?
