Ryuko Matoi, a deliquent transfer student drifting from school to school searching for clues about her father's murder. As she makes her way to Honno City, which brings her into violent conflict with Satsuki Kiryuin, the iron-willed student council president of Honnouji Academy. Suddenly, another student walks among their battle, having to look for Ryuko. A young man in fact, (First Name), who happily greets himself not minding Satsuki standing beside him with a katana. Despite no longer possessing senketsu Ryuko is still the same fighter she's always been and gets into all sorts of trouble and adventure. One day Ryuko comes across a boy named Y/N who brings about a new adventure.
