A poem of a similar nature as my sonnet collection but with a slightly different meter (less syllables per line) so I didn't think it fit in with the rest. This one was loosely inspired by Jack Jones's song "If You Ever Leave Me."

I am moving many of my singly published poems into collections, and in this collection will reside all my sonnets I have written, and will write in the future--I hope you enjoy. This sonnet was written to express my emotion towards a failed marriage the ugliness of its embodiment personified.
