[Highest ranking yet: #13 in Short Story] Are we friends? No, we're more like pen pals except we don't communicate through letters and we're not pals. I'm slightly offended but I really think we have a connection. Negative, we don't. It's a virtual connection. STAHP. (This story was inspired by real people on Wattpad.)

[Highest ranking yet: #323 in Short Story] This book includes my contest entries, varying from one-shots to short stories. Any contest that I apply for, their entries will be published here and I will be dedicating the one-shots and all the chapters of my short stories to their respective judges. I figured that this way, my stories wouldn't be clogged up with contest entries. Feel free to read and vote. Comments and feedback are also always appreciated. All the covers for the short stories go to their respective creators so be sure to check them out.

[Winning book for the Wattys4 December monthly contest. Reviewed by @LDCrichton: "I forgot I was reading a contest entry this one is so good."] Which emotion is the most powerful? The optimists will say that it's love while the pessimists will argue that it's sadness. Sarah William fell into the pessimist category and not without reason. After losing the love of her life, she starts to slowly spiral into depression. So maybe, sadness really is the most powerful thing that human beings can feel. But maybe not. After crossing paths with Joey Harding, she's forced to think otherwise. Maybe the strongest emotion is the last thing that was left in Pandora's box: the little glowing ball of hope. But there's always the danger of that little light flickering unexpectedly and it could go out just as suddenly as it came, leaving everything in complete darkness.

The first novella in a brand new zombie trilogy. Once bitten, the virus spreads throughout the human body. It shuts down organs, kills nerve impulses and even reprograms the way we think. The virus becomes us. But the process takes eight hours. If you only had eight hours left to live, what would you do? For Chris Smith, that decision has already been made. He's infected, and returns home to find the rest of his family undead or missing, save his youngest daughter Maisie. He's never been much of a father, but can he make up for it now in the final few hours of his life and find somewhere safe for her to survive? From the writer who brought you the Blood Memory series and The Swiss Family RobinZOM comes this powerful first part in a new zombie novella trilogy. Z-MINUS. Let the countdown begin.
